Three-layer co-extruded liner consisting of two solid polypropylene (PP) outer layers surrounding a central layer of closed-cell foamed polypropylene. The entire structure forms a single polymeric unit and therefore cannot delaminate.

The foamed central core provides the resilience and compressibility required for effective sealing, while the solid outer layers help prevent evaporation and product penetration.

The liner is typically inserted into aluminium, plastic or metal closures and becomes an integral part of the closure. When the bottle or jar is opened, the liner remains inside the closure.
