PS113 is an EVA-based pressure-sensitive adhesive (PS) liner made of Foamseal (extruded expanded polystyrene) with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and a release liner on the back.

The seal is applied at room temperature using pressure only – no heat is required.

Construction:

25 μm PS adhesive / 508 μm polystyrene foam with non-stick coating

Important:

The liner is not suitable for liquid products.

Suitable applications:

1. Food contact applications
2. Dietary supplements in capsule or tablet form (dry products)
3. Spices
4. Nuts
5. Cosmetics and pharmaceutical products

Properties:

3. Suitable for both glass and plastic containers
4. Pressure-sensitive sealing – no heat required

7. Provides tamper evidence, indicating whether the container has been previously opened
8. Helps protect the product against light, oxygen, humidity, microorganisms and odours

Application:

A curing time of at least 24 hours at room temperature is required to achieve full adhesion of the liner to the container neck.
